Winter Holidays

During our winter holiday we headed up north for some warmer temperatures. We started our trek on Canada day (July 1st). First day we drove 4 hours to Geraldton. That night we ended up at a pub celebrating Canada day and had poutine, they get points for trying. Second day we drove 5 hours to Carnarvon. We saw the landscape change as we headed up north but it was mostly flat with lots of wide open spaces.

Exmouth

In Exmouth we stayed 3 nights. The days were sunny around 23 C but it was very windy. We had a great beach day at Cape Range National Park. We were told to go snorkelling at Turquoise Bay. You don’t need to go far to see the coral and sea life. The water was cold but the snorkelling made it worth it.

Whale Shark Adventure

We also swam with a whale shark. About 20 of us on a boat and a spotter plane looks out for whale sharks. When spotted, we follow the whale shark then dive in with our guides and swim with the friendly giant of the ocean. It was amazing! The photos below are professional photos by Fuey Photography.

Touring with Ningaloo Blue. There are many charter boats to book tours with.
