Final leg of Road Trip: Kalbarri, WA

The final leg of our road trip…

From Shark bay, we drove 4 hours to Kalbarri. We planned to stay 3 nights to rest and relax before we headed home, but I goofed up on the booking. Luckily we had some understanding hosts, because it wasn’t until they showed up to clean did we find out I only booked 2 nights. We managed to get organised and packed and departed within the hour.

In Kalbarri, we did some great walks at Kalbarri National Park.We walked to Nature’s Window and hiked along some gorgeous gorges.

I love this pic!!

Heading home…

Just a 6 hour drive before heading back to Perth. We made a few stops on the way. One stop we were looking forward to seeing was a pink lake, but due to the time of day I couldn’t get a good quality picture of the lake.

The weather was getting cooler again as we head south…
One last stop at the Pinnacles. Over a thousand limestone formations in this area. It looks like there is a spirit in this picture.
Lots of on and off rain as we drove home, but it also meant a lot of rainbows too.

3400 kms later we were home.
